Measuring ahead???

What does it mean when the ultrasound says that you are measuring 1 week ahead ??

My last ultrasound said baby was measuring 1 week ahead but 57th percentile. I feel like that doesn't really align lol But really a week is in the margin of error so it probably means nothing.

Your baby is slightly bigger than average.

It means your baby weighs what 50% of babies 1 week ahead of yours weighed. It means hes a good size but nothing else

Your belly is slightly bigger than what is considered the norm. You can google what your measurements should be for what week your in.
However, due to body type and weight.... all women are different. So... 🤷‍♀️ What do they know.
I just had a friend have a baby and they were worried the baby was small and the baby was born a pound over what they thought.... so again.. 🤷‍♀️ 
I was told my belly or fundal height puts me weeks behind. I had an ultrasound a they guessed the baby at 4.8, which is exactly in the middle of “normal” so .... who knows.
