Has anyone fought with there SO about who gets to announce the second baby?

My boyfriend has been really upset with me since I told my mom that we are having another baby. He never told me he wanted to tell someone first and now I can’t take it back and I don’t know what to do. He seems to be constantly upset with me and even if he acts like he’s fine I’ll do something minor and it upsets him and it comes back to this.

I’m getting so stressed out about this I don’t know what to do anymore or how to make it up to him.

PLEASE ANY ADVICE ID REALLY APPRECIATE IT!

UPDATE for clarity:

He’s not upset that he didn’t tell my mom but he’s upset that she was the first to know with our son and he wanted to tell someone first. But the thing with that was I asked him if I could tell her he never said anything about wanting to tell someone first.

He said that because this might be our last child (I only wanted two if I have a girl) that he feels like it I didn’t think about him or his wants. Or how he might want to announce it.

With our son I told my parents and he told his. But ever since I told my mom he acts like he doesn’t even want to tell his family and to just let them figure it out.
