When you clean...

Question

Do you do the whole house top to bottom in one day? Do you do upstairs one day and downstairs the next? Or do you just clean up randomly as & when you feel each room needs it?

I clean by room (bathrooms, bedrooms, etc) and split it throughout the week. I have a baby so I can’t just see clean in one day/

I prefer to clean all at once, but that doesn’t happen with an 11 month old lol 
Normally I just tidy up every day in the main areas (cleaning the kitchen and putting away toys), laundry once a week, steam cleaning the floors once a week, changing sheets every other week, and bathrooms every other week.
Most of that stuff just gets done when my husband is home to occupy the kiddo 😂

I normally do the main lounge, then bedroom and if I have the energy, the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen we keep clean during the week so it's not a trainsmash if I skip it on Saturday, same as the bathroom.
There are some rooms I don't clean very often, not going to lie. We have a big house (in anticipation of having kids) and it's a bit hard to keep them all clean myself.

I have a cleaner who does my floors, dusting, windows, bathroom once a week but I have a golden retriever so the whole house gets vacuumed at least once a day, then I just generally keep the house tidy all the time and laundry gets folded and put away immediately or else it sits in a basket forever 🙈 I do a deeper cleaning in the bathroom and kitchen as I see it needs it

I usually split it up the tasks throughout the week(sometimes 2 weeks if lazy). One day will be for vacuuming/mopping. Another for dusting/polishing.

When I was working, I spent my saturdays cleaning the whole house. Top to bottom usually but with different focuses each weekend. 
Now I’m a stay at home mom of a two year old and cleaning is way more sporadic. I only get small chunks of time before my daughter wants my attention and so I can’t do it all at once anymore.
