It’s usually required no matter how old you are. It’s basically so restaurants can cover their asses. I’m required to card everyone that buys tobacco at my job no matter how old they are.

I'm in Aus and am almost 28... our legal drinking age is 18 and I still get carded at liquor stores about 70% of the time haha

Definitely I work in fifth grade half of those kids look like my height LOL and I don't look old so I definitely get carded and I don't really take it personal I take it as a compliment

I’m almost 33 and still get carded. A lot of places like stores actually have to scan your id to seek you alcohol. Although on my 21st birthday we went to a bar and they didn’t card me at all, I was slightly offended lol
