Anyone live in Atlanta?

We're planning our yearly vacation and we thought about going to Atlanta and visit the Zoo, Botanical Garden and Aquarium. Anyone live there and been to any of these places? Is it worth it? We would need a hotel near those places also, if anyone knows a good hotel near that would be helpful also. TIA.

We visit Atlanta a bit. The aquarium is great. We stay at the Westin peachtree and request a high floor it's the best view.

I don't live in Atlanta but my grandparents do so I have been to Atlanta quite a bit. The aquarium and the zoo are totally worth it!! The aquarium is the best. But hotels I am unsure. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I live an hour north of Atlanta. I wouldn’t consider Atlanta some where to vacation for a week. There’s things to do but it’s just not a place I would want to spend a week.

I’ve been to the Georgia aquarium and it was amazing!! Definitely worth it. My husband and I did the sea lion encounter and we got to hang out with sea lions and play with them. It costs extra but totally worth it, especially if you aren’t local. We live in Texas so it was a fun trip!
