When should you go to the hospital for swelling in feet and ankles?

My feet have started swelling the past week. But when I press on my ankle the indent of my finger stays? Ive read this is a good time to go to the hospital?

Try compression socks first thing in the morning. V that is what my doc had me do and they work wonders. She had me get 20-30hh and as long as I get them on on the morning, I'm pretty good with only minimal swelling. I have to keep my feet up as much as possible.

I wouldn’t go to the hospital just yet. Call your ob and let them know. I have swelling and pitting edema as well but that’s it. I’m on weekly ob appointments now, urine has tested fine and blood pressure has been super normal since the beginning, but I mention the swelling at every appointment. It’s just something that happens. I got compression socks and wear them about 12-16 hours a day and they really help. Also hydrate and put feet up when you can.
