My girl LOVES water. She sees the cup and loses it. We just got her the weighted straw cup and she has learned to drink through a straw now/ the first day she had a hard time but she understands now. I like it better because she doesn’t gulp as fast and choke. She can drink from a regular cup if I hold it, but ends up drinking so fast she coughs. The straw cup has slowed her down so she doesn’t choke herself.

Yes! She doesn’t drink much of it but she’s extremely “miss independent” so she likes to be able to do it by herself!
