Are condoms enough?

I lost my virginity and I'm wondering if male condoms are enough. I think my ovulation ends soon, but I don't know if I'm safe from pregnancy. Anyone know what to do?

Condoms, if used correctly, are actually 98% effective. You’re well protected on them. Obviously, it’s not 100% but if it helps you with a piece of mind, to use a backup method that’s perfectly fine as well. 😊

Condoms are highly effective when used properly, but they're not 100%. Nothing is ever 100%. Sure you can always try going on birth control and using condoms, youd be as about space as you can get. But do realize that condoms when used effectively are more than enough in most situations, and those who get pregnant are the odd man out and those who use it incorrectly.
Just do what makes you feel comfortable. Want more protection? I'd look into birth control, but if you dont want birth control then I'd say you're limited and have to qualm anxieties about pregnancy. Doesnt mean dont be safe though!

They’re pretty effective, if you’re concerned you may consider spermicide or having your partner pull out before ejaculation just to be sure. Heck, I’d do all 3 as I really can’t handle another baby right now 😄

I got pregnant at 18 with my first boyfriend from male condoms. We were sensible and using them correctly and not even having regular sex because we were both living with our respective parents. I wish someone would have advised me to get a more reliable form of contraception.
