Should I got to the doctors

Okay so my period is very irregular and one month it comes on and goes off. And like three months after it comes on again. Then after it comes on it skips a month. Then a whole lot more months. I’m scared I’ll have trouble having kids like my mom she has five girls now but it took her years to have them and she’s had seven miscarriages so I wanted to know should I go to the women’s clinic and get checked out?
