How to be there for someone during pregnancy
I posted the other day about my friend who tried to get pregnant so its not the pregnancy she’s freaking out about, it’s like the pregnancy itself is making her feel like her body doesn’t belong to her and like a commenter said it’s like your body just does everything without you and that can be overwhelming. I’ve been talking to her a lot and she went to the doctor today and talked to them about it and still is just stressed out and exhausted. It’s so hard for me to explain this, like I’ve never experienced pregnancy myself so I have absolutely no advice to give her. I’m just like “I know it’s hard, it’s valid to feel that way and I’m sorry. I’ll be here when you need to vent or just hang out.”
Like I don’t know what to recommend other than see a doctor and it just feels shit because I’m like limited on being able to help her out.
pregnancy can be brutal for some people, man. 😔 any advice on what I can do further to help her feel better? Imagine almost every negative way pregnancy can affect someone, that’s what it’s doing to her. I feel so bad that I’m like “I have nothing.” When it comes to advice
