I had an easy labor and delivery my first child and a relatively uneventful pregnancy. Now I’m 38 years old and 30 weeks pregnant. I have a low lying placenta, very low blood pressure and anemia- none of which are debilitating or really affecting my day to day life. But, my doc said she would induce me a week before my due date if I wanted. I’m hesitant because my first went to well and I don’t want to intervene necessarily (hoping I have a similar experience) but I also like the idea of planning it so that I can plan for the moms to fly out in time and watch the dogs and our son.

What are your thoughts on getting induced? Any experiences of moms who have had one baby come on it’s own and one through induction? Curious how the experiences differ?
