How long after getting a stretch and sweep did labour begin?

Had stretch and sweep today at 40weeks, was 1cm dialated with head -2 in pelvis. Whats your experience with how effective stretch and sweep is?

Mine didn't work. I had it done on my due date because I had been 5 cm dilated and 75% effaced for the last month. She did a membrane sweep in the office and set my induction date for two days later. Two days later I was in the hospital at 7 in the morning waiting to get things started. 😂

I had mine done at 37 and 38 and never went into labor on my own. Your experience might be different since you’re further along. Try to stay active :)

Mine didn’t work I was I was induced a week later I had 2 1 at like 39 weeks and another at 40. Good luck hope you go into labour soon!
