My husband shows his love for me in 100 other little ways and yes, when we were first dating I was jealous of friends whose boyfriends did write love notes etc but to be honest I would prefer a man who puts his love into action 🤷🏻‍♀️

yes, but that's bc he loves to show/receive verbal affection. if it bothers you that your bf doesn't, talk to him about it. my bf is a lot more affectionate than me, but i try to make an effort by dropping short compliments every now and then and he knows that i'm trying to show affection in his love language. he reminds me of his mother since they both like to send texts like this lol.
