Kickstart Labor?

When can I start eating dates/ having sex to help my cervix for labor? Has anyone else tried the primrose oil. I know not to use the castor oil. I’m 36 weeks today. Thanks in advance!

You you can eat dates  entire last trimester￼￼. Sex is it gonna hurt anything either unless you’re on pelvic rest for some reason.  evening Primrose oil I’ve heard people do it as long ad a whole entire last trimester. Then I’ve heard some start a 36 or 37 weeks. None of these things will make baby come unless it’s ready anyway but will help the process once it started. ￼￼

I would wait until you get the go ahead from your doctor/midwife. Ask at your next appointment, but it really shouldn't be an issue since none of it will put you into labor unless your body and baby are ready.
