Usually if it a big piece they will want to do 2 sessions but the overall amount or eating they give you stays the same, they usually would do like 2 -3hour sessions. Or something like that. If it’s not gonna take that long u can get it in one session or ask to do 2 it’s whatever u can handle

I think it depends on the artist. How I see it if you need two sessions it’s a big tattoo so it’s already gonna be expensive. No need to charge for the extra day. But idk some may just be charging for their time in the second session.
