If you had a stretch and sweep, was it successful ?

I am getting a stretch and sweep completed at 38 weeks and desperate to go into labour as I am very uncomfortable. Just wondering what the success rate is and any other comments you may have!

My best friend had success with this at 38+1!

After 3rd attempt waters broke 12 hours later all over my mums sofa. First contraction 5 hours after that.

I said yes because mine was successful in a way. I lost my mucus plug a few days after my sweep but didn’t go into active labour for another week or so. Mind you I got mine at 40 weeks, not sure if that makes a difference! Hope this helped!
