Post partum pads vs. adult diapers?!

What do you momma’s like better? 
I did have some pads from my local WalMart that I used and was totally in love with for post partum after I had my daughter.
I’m due with my son very soon & was wondering if adult diapers were more convenient?!

Diaper, with a pad 👌 and I slept on a puppy pee pad the first night lol

I used adult diapers for about a week after my second was born. It was so much better than pads in the beginning when I wasn’t moving much / laying down a lot.

I thought about diapers but I just used long overnight pads. I didn’t feel diapers were necessary, and I didn’t want to deal w changing them while I had people in and out visiting the first week home.

Diapers with the overnight pad inserted in them along with witch hazel pads on top of that

I preferred the diapers, never had a leak. I put the ice pack pads in them so I didn't have to change as often

I was told that the adult diapers aren’t made to hold blood, so they aren’t a reliable choice. I used the pads from the hospital and got a crap ton extra to take home with me. They worked pretty well.

Always discreet underwear after the first 2-3 days of heavy, bright red blood.
