No urine sample since 8 weeks?

I haven’t had a urine sample taken since 8 weeks and I am now 24, should I question my doctor about this or even request one at my 28 week appointment? I guess I don’t know how important they are🤷🏼‍♀️

With both my pregnancies, I’ve gotten a urine sample before every single appointment with by OBGYN. It’s to make sure you aren’t secreting proteins or others indicators of preeclampsia. I would definitely ask why they aren’t requesting one.

My doctor does them at every single appointment to check for protein/sugar/bacteria and every few weeks give or take they do a random drug test on every single pregnant woman so sometimes I have it taken at the beginning and end of an appointment

Huh... now that I think of it... with my first pregnancy and second it seemed they would ask for one every other visit. This is my third and I only gave them one on my first visit. I am 29 weeks now. It is at a different office location, but same practice.

I didn't have one my whole second trimester. Pretty normal from my experience. I normally dont have to give one even now in my third trimester. I've had 3 maybe this whole pregnancy.

I think I only had 2 with my last pregnancy. This time I had 1 at my first appointment. Just had my 25 week around and no urine sample.

Mine stopped after the first few appointments too 🤷‍♀️ I found it really weird, with my first it was every appointment until I delivered. I always forgot to ask about it, but I figured it was either a new protocol..or maybe because I didn’t have any preeclampsia with my first and wasn’t showing signs in the beginning with my second they don’t need to? They still checked my blood pressure every time tho 🤔 Who knows
