Evening prim rose oil?

Who had success with evening prim rose oil, how many and what was the milligrams?

I have to be induced at 37+6 and my high risk doctor told me to start taking it at I think 34 weeks. I did Once a day for a week to make sure it didn’t upset my stomach and have been doing 2-3 times a day for a couple of weeks (37w today). I had my cervix checked the other day and I am 2cm dilated, “extremely soft,” head low. Hopefully my induction won’t be too bad since I have a little action already going on? 
Also have been eating 6 dates a day (Dr. didn’t recommend this but also said it was fine), and drinking red raspberry leaf tea.

I am convinced that evening primrose oil put me into labor. I went over due by 4 days, my midwife suggested at 40 + 3 to insert evening primrose before bed because my cervix was still high, closed and hard. After 1 night, my cervix dropped down, I became 50% effaced and 3 cm dilated, with a stretchy cervix.

I inserted 2 up the vagina every night since 34 weeks and it really does thin out your cervix. 36 weeks now and almost 3 cm dilated 75% effaced.  Almost there.
