bad situation need help

i just told this boy i like him like last weekend and he felt the same.

we been kinda moving fast and before dating he was going to take me on a date (which would be today)

but last night when i was on the phone with him my dad walked in and he was already listening to the conversation a bit before.

i told the boy i could go on the date cause my dad said it was fine as long as he knew where it was. which is true.

but my dad was jus joking with him at first but then asked if he was the boy who wanted to take me on a date. and my dad said not to ask me for nudes and said he knows how to pin location. after that i told my dad to get out of my room.

the conversation got awkward and basically all i got to say was it will get better and he just said i’d never ask you for nudes. there was like noting after that.

i texted him apologizing and he said it’s ok.

but then i sent him a snap a couple hours later and it was addressing a lot of issues we were talking ab earlier and he left it in open. we are still pretty young so it’s like what do i do. (14 yrs old) the date wasn’t going to be too extra but i’m worried he’s not going to want to go later.

i don’t know if i should get ready or not. i’m just confused and don’t want to text him again.
