We argued over text and now he hasn’t texted me. He wakes up at 4pm to work until 7am and usually texts me by now.. (it’s like 5:30pm) idk. Should I give him space? Is this normal?

Answer

Give him space and don’t have serious conversations over text messages. All that will come of that is a post on here featuring said text messages where none of us will be able to properly interpret the tone. And same with you. You can’t tell someone’s tone through texts. If you really want to text him, I would just say “I love you. I hope your work day (night?) goes smoothly and hopefully we can talk tomorrow.”
