Is this fair?
Sorry if this is the wrong group, but I need opinions.
I was hired at my job (at a nursing home) full time. I started out getting 30-35 hours a week but slowly, my boss started cutting my hours. This week I asked her if on the next schedule I could have the full time hours I should be getting and she said no because she only had so many hours to use from corporate and she has to put the CNAs first... I feel like her full time employees should come first because I know some of the CNAs aren’t full time and are getting full time hours. I also know a girl with the same job title I have that gets 36 hours a week. Is this unfair or should I be getting my hours? I’m currently only getting about 23 hours a week. I have several bills to pay and my checks are barely $300 every two weeks and I’m barely getting by. I am looking for a new job but it’s hard in my area.
