Care to share your coping methods?

Please don't just say therapy, its obvious and expensive, or I know it's sarcasm lol

I'm limited to self help, and I'm looking for healthy coping methods.

I tend to draw and write, But have issues controlling my anger or suppressing my depression, and when a mood swing comes, drawing and writing aren't the right "outlet" sometimes.

So I thought I would post on here and ask. Maybe someone has a better idea or something they do that I haven't thought of or tried yet.

NOTE: I was given a diagnosis in the past and I'm on medication, but that's besides the point. I just want to learn how to cope with some of the symptoms that come along with my "issue."
