How could a condom break? Like what could cause it?

I had sex a really long time without condom but ever since I haven’t because I’m just scared if the condom breaks or something, I do not want to get pregnant. 
Also when some of you have sex with condom do you still tell him to pull out before he cums or??

The condom can break because of many reasons- expired, too tight, put on wrong etc. I get mine from clinics because they are free and have various brands. If you are worried about a condom breaking, get on bc or have him pull out (still a chance of pregnancy).

I’ve only had a condom break once, and im not that sure what caused it. I think he probably didnt put it on correctly since we were both drunk. But if you get the wrong size or it’s expired then there’s a greater chance of it breaking
