I was in the spirit at thanksgiving and dropped 4-$50 gift cards for Panera at L&D and Maternity to thank them. One card for each shift. Nobody I knew was on shift at maternity so I left the note and card (on our family photo w Santa) with reception. Had a nice moment with one of my L&D nurses.

Fast forward 3 months and 2 of the 4 cards were fully used and the other 2 not used at all yet. I didn’t write down which cards I gave to whom, but I’m guessing maternity reception lost the message.

Should I go back? Call? Give up? You try to do something nice and just waste time and money. Might just treat myself to lunch at Panera to think it over 🤣
