I need advice on how to get my hair soft and smooth. The ends of my hair are super dry and frizzy.

Just a little back story: last spring I went to a salon to get my hair colored. I was going for a balayage... when it came time for the person to cut and style my hair, my hair was super tangly and almost rubber like.... I never went back to the person. When it was time for a haircut, I took off 3-4inches at a time in hopes to cut most of the color/balayage out.

During all the mess, I used Matrix Biolage and it worked wonders. My hair was extra soft even though it was damaged. I stopped using the product because I didn’t have the money at the time. So I settled for drug store products. I eventually went back to Matrix Biolage and it wasn’t the same... My hair is back to being extra dry and brittle.
