When do i start buying things?!

Hey gals , im currently 17 weeks pregnant today (5 months) and i have suffered a couple miscarriages in the past so i am just petrified to start buying anything due to all the “what ifs”. Im trying to tell myself everything will be fine, and fate is going to take its course regardless so theres no reason in suppressing my excitement to “what ifs”. So i guess my question for y’all is when did you guys start buying baby items? Like the bigger items, crib, carseat, etc. Am i still too early for that?
