So my beautiful daughter was finally born today, 2/28/20. I started to have contractions around 11 last night and finally decided to go to the hospital at 2 this morning. The car ride was awful. Every contraction just felt unbearable. At that point my contractions were 2 to 3 minutes apart. So i get to the hospital around 3 a.m. and im rushed up to the snuggery and they checked me. I was 4 cm. About an hour later my water broke and i was in so much pain i couldnt take it anymore. So they checked me again and i was 5 cm. I got my epidural at 4:17 this morning and i felt almost instant relief. So the nurses just let the contractions go on for a while. At about 7 a.m. i was 6 cm. At 10 i was 9 cm. And at 11:12 a.m. i was 10 cm and pushing. My baby girl, Marleigh Julianna was born at 12:09 p.m. weighing 6 pounds 9.1 ounces and she was 19 1/2 inches long. All the doctors and nurses were impressed by how quick i delivered because im 18 and this is my first baby
