Am I the only one who got a false negative?

I should've gotten IV antibiotics during labor but they thought I was GBS negative. Well I wasn't.

I still haven't posted my birth story from December 2018 because it was so traumatic.

In a nutshell, my girl was born at 41 weeks and was having issues breathing within 10 minutes of birth. A nurse caught it early thankfully. She went right to the NICU where she was diagnosed with GBS septicemia. After two lumbar punctures, a PICC line placement and 11 days in the hospital she was discharged and has been healthy ever since. Not everyone is so lucky.

I wish I would've known that false negatives were possible, then I would've gotten antibiotics just in case.
