My extremely long birth story part 3

Kyra

Part 3

This completely caught me off guard but I opened my eyes and looked up and pulled my son out of me😭😭it was the craziest and most emotional thing I have ever experienced. The second I grabbed him and had him on my chest I just lost it. He was soo perfect and tiny. They didn’t take him to get weighed or anything for an hour so I got skin to skin time that first hour😇 However after he was out and my OB was stitching me up I definitely started feeling that pain and it sucked🥴 I tried to stay focused on my amazing baby but it was hard because that shit was painful and felt like he was stitching me up forever. I don’t remember feeling my placenta come out I just remember him telling me to push. And man the nurses pushing on my belly after was HORRIBLE. The first time she did I grabbed her arm. I really didn’t mean to but it hurt sooo bad. They pushed on my belly every 30 minutes. For a while then it eventually got more spaced out but that whole day was horrible as they kept coming in to push on my belly and make sure everything was going back to the right place 😭😭 Okay sorry guys I’m realizing how long this story is but I wanted to include all the details 😂

Brytner Cayde Harvey was born February 15th at 3:35pm. I pushed for 1hour. He was 8lbs 5oz & 21 inches long. He is 25% black 75% white.

He is such a strong baby & has been holding his head up since the day he was born. It has definitely been an exhausting 2 weeks of trying to adjust to lack of sleep and taking care of another person. I am breastfeeding and he has been cluster feeding so much 😭 I’m up every 30minutes or hour and a half at most all throughout the night to feed him. I love it though and I love being his mommy❤️ The weekends have definitely been my favorite though because daddy’s home the whole time and able to help more 😊
