When to start using opk..?

I am going to be using opks for the first cycle this cycle. I dont want to be wasteful. My period ended yesterday. When should I start using them? And how often?

There’s a chart (usually comes with the package or at least mine did) of when to start testing based on your cycle length. Pregmate are the strips I’m using and I got them off amazon, cheap strips are great and work just as well as the expensive ones in the store.

I start on cd 10 and I test each morning (easiest for me to remember) until my line darkens and then I test in the am and then about 12 hours later. I haven’t missed a peak. I suggest the app premom and getting a book of strips off amazon.

Personally, I started on cycle day 10, testing at 11:00 am every day. When they started getting a little darker around cycle day 13 I started testing at 11;00 am and 6:00 pm, so I wouldn’t miss my peak! ☺️
