I have been prone to bacterial vaginosis since my son was born July 14th 2017. I have had horrible hard time getting rid of this and i am constantly going to the doctor nom stop getting flaygl and the gel.

My husband and I are wanting another baby and thid week is the week i am fertile and stuff but i am also taking flagyl for my bacterial vaginosis. Just wondering if trying to conceive affect everything?

My doctor knows about my recurring bacterial vaginosis and he keeps saying its super common and all i need is antibiotics. He has never did any test to see what is causing it. 

I use everything unscented when i shower. Laundry detergent is unscented and included pads. I haven't been on probiotics yet,but i am searching for more answers before I make that decision weather to take probiotics or not.

I know bacterial vaginosis is caused by sperm but what if when your trying to conceive. How do you keep the bv away if sperm is the cause when your trying for baby? I just don't get that part! 

I haven't made doctor appointment yet but will,just wanted advice from you!
