Hi ladies,

Just want to hear some of your experiences and advice about your first doctors visits.

So I've just booked to see my doctor and have been given an appointment in 2 weeks (I'll be almost 9 weeks by then). The receptionist told me he would go through some questions about what I want to do (I didn't get what she meant but this) and refer me to a midwife.

Do the midwife referrals go through quite quick or will there be delay (another 2 weeks for example).

I'd like to hear your stories, this is my first pregnancy so I'm going in blind.
