wet cough since c section ?!

I had a c section a week ago today . Ever since I have had mucus in my chest . I will feel short of breath and then cough up a ton of mucus and feel completely better . It started the night after my surgery . The doctors gave me Mucinex and didn’t check it out or anything .  Has anyone experienced this ? I’m calling my primary doc tomorrow .

I had the same thing. I was completely fine before my delivery then after my c section I had a terrible cough out of nowhere. Every time I coughed my incision hurt/burned so bad. The doctors said that was normal. They gave a reason, but I forgot what it was caused from. Anyway the cough was gone in like 2 or 3 weeks and everything was fine!

I ended up with a wet cough but not until about a month after my CS... I didn’t take anything, I just let it go away. Probably bad choice but I was fine in 2 weeks.
