How do I leave my baby??

I’m about to have to go back to work and I don’t think I can do it! My baby will only be 3 months. I am completely freaking out! Advice?

When I went back to work my husband stayed home for 2 weeks with our kid. Then I could go back to work without "leaving my baby" and get into the swing of things with working and pumping before starting daycare. 
Also it's good for fathers to take time off too. If he's FMLA eligible he's entitled to time just like you are.

Not gonna lie it's the worst! But you get through it! You will get distracted at work and that will help! You'll get used to it though. I'm sorry you have to go back so early, I did the same thing 😢 it was hard but if I can do it, you can too!!

I felt there exact same a year ago, when my baby was 3 months old and I was starting back to work. I didn't see how it would be possible. The first 2 months were very difficult. I had postpartum anxiety, which I got some as-needed medication for and have an awesome doctor that I could talk to. I started back for a whole week, which I advise against doing, even if it means going back to work a little earlier. Do a half week. Find a support system, whether it's your partner, your coworkers, friends, family, breastfeeding group, e.t.c. I was really lucky with my work and family. And I'm so glad I'm working now because I have my own life, and my toddler has friends and is learning so much at daycare that gives her awesome daily structure. I really get it. I've been there. It's hard and it's going to be hard for a bit. But you got this.

I know exactly how you're feeling. I have to go back to work on Monday and my son will be a week shy of 3 months. I've been thinking about for the last 2 weeks lol. I'm starting to get pretty jealous of my mom for getting to be with him for hours while I'm at work 😭

I went back when my son was 10 weeks old. Definitely the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and no mother should have too! These maternity laws suck! 
It was really difficult the first few weeks, but got better after a few weeks!

I went back when my son was 8 weeks old and I  cried leaving him with my in-laws. Knowing in my heart that he was being taken good care of gave me some ease. It’ll be hard at first but it’ll be okay because you’ll want to rush home to se your beautiful little one.

I wish I knew. I tried to go back and had such bad anxiety I quit my job. He’s 17 months now and we’re expecting our second in December. My husband is such a saint to take on the financial responsibility.
