Any opinions on Vitex?

Question

So I normally have regular 28-30 day cycles except for my last cycle which was 51 days long.  I started taking Vitex last Friday and my period started today. It’s not as heavy as my normal period start days but I’ll take anything as I’m TTC. Does anyone else take Vitex? And did it help you regulate? Does it help with late ovulation? I’m seeing mixed things online. Thanks!

My period is heavier today which is more normal for me. So far I’m pleased.. thank you guys for your input!

This is my second cycle taking vitex and it’s really helped me get back on my regular period schedule!! There are a lot of good reviews of it too which is why I started taking it.
