I’m a SAHM with a 4yo and currently 34 weeks pregnant. My neighbor also has a 5yo and 3yo. Unfortunately, the 3yo is a Tasmanian-devil to say the least. They have come over unannounced 3 times and each time, have cause havoc and chaos that I had to clean up after they left. Now that I’m physically just drained, and trying to rest as much as possible, they keep texting and coming over. So far, I’ve ignored the texts and the random visits by not opening the door. But it’s becoming very uncomfortable. I texted her and said I have HBP and I’m bedridden, thinking it’d buy me at least a few weeks of them not wanting to come over assuming that I’d need rest but instead she says “oh no! We have to come visit you then!” I don’t know how to kindly tell her that I really don’t feel comfortable her being her kids to my house so they can exert their energy and leave. I’m not confrontational at all. I hate that I have to run to my car or run into my house when I get home in order to avoid them. I’m running out of excuses, I’ve even told them that my daughter was sick a week ago and they still wanted to come over but I said she was resting so no. We’ve only moved here 3 months ago 😭 hoping that if I continue to give her enough excuses, she’d leave me alone...
