What are some signs the baby is in the process of dropping? Or dropped?

Answer

You'll see a visible change with stomach dropping lower and you'll feel a heavy pressure with baby's head low into the pelvis. 
I often felt like I was getting kicked in my butthole or pushing on my cervix with my son. You might be able to feel the squishy butt along the same height as your navel. My son was on my right side. I developed SPD around the time he dropped so got bad sciatica and could barely open my legs.
