When to ditch the paci?

My daughter isn’t super dependent on it. Only uses it when being rocked to sleep and always spits it out while she’s sleeping. Never uses it during the day, if i offer it she just takes it out and throws it lol.

But I will replace it at night when she wakes up to help her go back to sleep. She’ll be one on the 31st and I was thinking of getting rid of it all together. Good idea or bad? I guess I just want to avoid her getting attached to it and have a 3 year old with a paci 😂
