Am I being unreasonable?

My dad thinks he’s obligated to meet my boyfriend saying the he has to make sure that he treats me right and all this other stuff and saying how he’s gonna try and scar him etc and I told him that I’m not bringing someone home till I feel comfortable with it and he tries to control me still and I’m 19 almost 20 in college. He says that I still have to tell him when I go out and who I’m going out with and etc and it’s annoying because I have three brothers and he never did that with them. I don’t know what to do. I’m tired of being treated like I’m not a damn adult smart enough to make good decisions.
