My husband and I are expecting our first baby in less than 3 weeks! We are over the moon excited!

When my husband was a child he was sexually abused my his uncle. He told his grandmother (the abusers mother) who called the police and he was arrested and is a registered sex offender.

This uncle still lives with his mother. I believe its due to not wanting to register his address.

My husband wants to visit with our new born to see his grandmother, but i can’t get over what my husband went through. My husband was brave enough to tell me but his family acts like nothing ever happened and don’t bring it up. Im not comfortable with my baby in the same room let alone the same atmosphere with this person. My husband seems to understand but wants to show forgiveness and he invited him to our babyshower. Not sure how to feel!
