When did you introduce solid ?

Hello mamas 
When did you introduce solid to your Little ones ? And what did you start with ? 
Also how much did your little one ate ? And how often? How many times a day ?

I just started yesterday and gave her avocado, today imixed tge avocado with some banana

We were planning on waiting until 6 months. 
By 5 months he showed all signs of readiness. 
Sat up unassisted
Very interested in/grabbing for our food to put in his mouth
Tongue thrust reflex gone
Mimicking our chewing motions
However, I was still planning on waiting until 6 months.
Less than week beforehand (so, what 5 months and 3.5 weeks lol) my husband is literally fighting back the baby from diving into his plate. Every meal had become this tug of war to keep him away from our food...so he just started letting him taste it and baby was crazy in love.
So I hurried and took the feeding littles.com course (it’s been 7 years since we did BLW with our first) and they’re advice said “around 6 months” with the list of readiness. So I didn’t figure a few days early was going to break his digestive system considering everything else in his body says FEED ME!
I highly recommend the FeedingLittles course, and/or researching several reputable sources on feeding versus only our anecdotal experiences. 
He isn’t consuming much, but is doing a great job at chewing and exploring. He loves loves loves mealtime.

4.5 months . We started with cereal first . She had an allergic reaction to the oatmeal and wasn’t interested in the rice . So we moved on to vegetables. Right now she’s getting  it one day a day 2-4 oz

Started at 5.5 months when she showed all signs of readiness. We are doing BLW. Started with a banana. Her favorites are strawberries and any meats. I keep putting food on her tray until she is no longer interested.

Just started at 6 months with baby led weaning. I started with a slice of avocado, then cut half a banana and handed these to him. He drinks water from a tiny little shot-like glass 😂

We are waiting for 6 months (2 weeks + 1 day) 
He hasn’t shown interest in food, weight gain is amazing on just milk! 
He was also on antibiotic for 5 months due to a suspected duplex kindey so with that going into his system at a young age I felt it was best for him to wait before starting solids. 
My health visitor and his consultant both advised me to wait until 6 months if it was possible.
