What can ease pain of shots when getting them?!

I'm desperate! I feel so bad when he screams. Would numbing his legs with ice first help?? Any other suggestions?!

I’d say it’s not really worth giving anything. It only lasts a second. It breaks my heart to hear him cry but our dr gives the shot and then says “give him some living mama” and the second I pick him up he’s fine lol it’s still really sad though 😫

In Australia we are told to give LO Baby panadol before hand but this is for only certain injection to reduce fever. 
I have found soon as they are finish shack a empty bottle half full of rice (or sonthing fun and loud) and my LO forget he was even crying. 
As other state it is more the shock then the pain for your LO, and heartbreaking for us.

Just like when you get a shot, the pain only lasts a second. I promise this is worse for you than it is for him. He doesn’t remember - you comfort him, and he feels better after that.

It's not recommended to give Tylenol before vaccines. It could make the vaccine less effective. I would ask your doctor.
