I can’t decide

Question

I’m looking to either get a dyson vacuum or either a roomba but I can’t decide which one I should get. We don’t have carpet in our house just wood floors. We do have two small dogs. Anyone have and suggestions of which one to get?

Both. A Roomba is not designed to completely replace vacuuming, just lessen the frequency in which it needs to be done.

I know this wasn’t either of your options, but this is the vacuum I was looking to get in my old house because we had hard surface floors everywhere. It vacuums and mops the floor.   
We recently moved, so I’m just using my dyson cordless (which I love) but it definitely does better on carpet than hard floors. 
I personally could never get a roomba with pets, I’ve had friends with absolute horror stories about pets having accidents and the roomba running it over and spreading it everywhere.... gives me nightmares 😂😂

Dyson before Roomba. Then get a Roomba later if possible. The Dyson is a must have in my opinion. I use it every day but we also love our Roomba. I would just much rather have the Dyson. It’s versatile. The Roomba serves the one purpose. Yes it’s nice to have something run automatically and pick up the extra stuff but it is not a replacement for a full blown vacuum!
I have both the V8 Absolute and the Cyclone V10 Absolute. I would recommend either! I love them both. Just a heads up, if you are in the US and looking at the V11, it comes with a torque multi surface head instead of a carpet head and a hard floor soft roller. The multi surface head is supposed to detect which floor surface you are on but I’ve heard people don’t love it as much as the soft roller for hard floors. We use our soft roller every day as we mostly have hard floor throughout our house. So that is something to consider if you want the roller, you’ll have to buy it separately if you get the v11. The v10 absolute comes with it.
