Is it justified for shops to increase prices of food / hygiene products in light or covid19?
I went to my local supermarket today to pick up some essentials and the shelves are literally empty and restrictions on what / how much you can buy
I normally do my grocery shop online and generally buy the same every week- however I noticed a huge increase in price
Is it acceptable for retailers to do this to take control of panic bulk buying? Or does it only disadvantage the less wealthy?
