An unusual “problem”

My son is 9 1/2 months old, we still breastfeed regularly, but less frequently lately because he LOVES to eat table food.

However, even though he started nursing less frequently, my milk production has gone way up. I don’t just mean it feels like more because he goes longer between feedings. I mean my breasts become borderline engorged within an hour or two of him nursing. I’ve even encouraged him to nurse a couple extra times to relieve the feeling. It’s not painful, but I’m leaking milk. I’m leaking milk as if I were in the first couple weeks of nursing. I haven’t need nursing pads in MONTHS until recently again.

I’m really not meaning to complain, I know so many women have the opposite issue and I’d rather deal with this. I mostly just want to know if anyone has an idea of what could be causing it?
