Hey everyone. I had a visit with the OBGYN yesterday about my loss of menstruation, trying to get pregnant, weight gain and male pattern hair growth. She stated that she had diagnosed me with PCOS in July 2018. I was not aware and it does not show in my records.. so here I am, with PCOS...looking for advice and tips. They are starting me on progesterone for 14-16 out if the month to regulate me and then birth control for 3-6 months. I am Catholic so, of course, this is daunting, but I have been told that I am at a high risk for Endometrial Cancer. Please send me some advice, support, anything that I need to know about this diagnosis and what I can do to battle it.
