Need some support

Nickie

I’m 28 years old and found I was pregnant on 2/24! I was super excited because my lmp was 1/6, but since November my periods have been crazy. I quit my super high stress job and stopped taking my antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds. So I figured that was all connected.

I went in for what I thought was my 9 week appointment after some bleeding the night before and the ultrasound tech said I was less than 5.5 cuz they couldn’t see much, just a fetal pole. So, of course I start crying because I thought I was having another miscarriage.

My doctor came in and explained I had a sub chorionic hemorrhage which should heal itself. Then he explains that I have multiple cysts on both my ovaries and he’s actually surprised I got pregnant at all. Since I was pregnant last year and had a pre-conception appointment in August, all of these cysts grew or whatever in less than 6 months.

He said PCOS shouldn’t affect my pregnancy but I’ve read so many posts saying the opposite.

My mom had a hysterectomy at 40 because they found ovarian cancer in both her ovaries. Luckily, it was caught in time and she’s fine now.

I just needed to vent and get some feedback!

Thank you for listening to me

❤️❤️❤️

Congrats! I am 32, have PCOS and am 35 weeks with my first. We are so excited but I was definitely very anxious until about 24weeks. Once baby started moving routinely it helped. I also had severe bleeding at 11weeks we thought was a miscarriage but was a subchorionic hematoma. It was small and was pretty much absorbed by our next ultrasound a week later. So it didn’t cause any other issues. Other that gestational diabetes and monitoring my blood pressure due to past issues because of PCOS pregnancy has been good.
