EXTREMELY heavy period 8 weeks post partum?

I’m soaking through pads every couple of hours with extreme cramps. I’ve never in my life had a period like this! I’m 8 weeks post partum. I had completely stopped bleeding by 3 weeks, ovulated one week ago and woke up soaked through my underwear with blood today. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

6-8 week pp is considered normal... So Maybe you over did it and irritated something internally. Watch for clots and call your OB ?

I bled for 3 months heavily after my c section I thought it kept stopping but then would come back. Hope that helps but maybe just get an advice from the doctors just in case!
