Anyone that's still EBF their babies got their periods yet?

I'm  at 6 months post partum no period yet. How was your period when it returned? Any different? Is it coming regularly every month?

I had spotting on and off the first 6 months but not a full period.  It came back like a bat out of hell at exactly 6 months pp.  So unfair considering he still nurses like a newborn.

Mine is regular. Came back 5 months post partum. I cramped a week before the first one came back really badly but the actual period was fine. Wasn’t as bad as before pregnancy actually. Didn’t even know I had started one night haha. I also take a hormone balancing supplement called Balance by Alani nu which could be why my period aren’t painful and normal? Not sure

Got my first at 5 months and it was agony. A day longer than my normal period used to be. Second one was 36 days later and my cycles used to be 29 days. Haven’t gotten my 3rd yet.

Yep at 9 weeks pp 😒 again at 13 weeks but then got the IUD.

I got something .... not sure if it’s a period but it was blood (lighter way lighter than a period) last month (6 months) lasted a few days. Not enough blood to put a pas or tampon for but keeping my eyes peeled to see what happens this month

My cycles are a little longer and a little more varied (normally I'm a clock every 30 days before baby #1, every 32 days before baby #2, now 33 days, then 35 days) and flow is lighter with shorter menstruation (used to be crazy heavy, 9-12 days, now average flow, 6-7 days). I'll take it! It came back at 6 months after my first, 5 months this time around. I read somewhere the average is 6 months, but I've known many women who've gone longer. Several who don't start again til they stop breastfeeding, a few who had nothing for 2-2 1/2 years and then found out they were pregnant again. Jealous of them! 🙄😂

Never got my period but I just found out I’m pregnant😬 so I must have ovulated!
